Behind the lens
Peter Adel is an Egyptian sports photographer based in Cairo, Egypt.
He first picked up a camera in 2014 and turned professional in 2022. For the past two seasons he has worked pitchside, covering the Egyptian Premier League, the CAF Champions League and the IHF Men's Club World Championship in Cairo.
He has shot for Yolyou and for Zamalek SC. His photographs have run in Al Gomhuria, and he contributes editorial sports photography to Getty Images and Shutterstock.
